PT Astra Honda Motor is a sole agent (ATPM) of Honda Motorcycle in Indonesia, including manufacturing, assembling and distributor activities. PT Astra Honda Motor is a multinational joint venture company between PT Astra International Tbk (Indonesia) and Honda Motor Company Ltd (Japan). PT AHM was formed in 1971 and headquartered in Jakarta. The Company supported by 3 production facilities spread in Sunter, Pegangsaan, Cikarang with total production capacity of 4.3 million units per year. As of March 2013, AHM supported by 29 main dealers, 1,807 sales outlets, 3,620 Astra Honda Authorized Service Station (AHASS), as well as 7,431 parts outlets. According to AHM's news release in 24 July 2013 as cited by JobsCDC.com, AHM reported total sales in injection motorcycle of 1,739,549 units and become a market leader with control 62.3% market share.
